By accessing or using Commercer.io, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms are between you and Commercer LLC, 33 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801.
Commercer provides infrastructure for managing product data, transformations, and multi-store deployment. It does not act as a merchant, reseller, or marketplace.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining account security
- All activity performed under your account
- Access granted to team members
You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
3. Platform Usage
Commercer is designed to:
- Manage canonical product data
- Apply transformations (manual or AI)
- Execute controlled updates to connected stores
You may not:
- Use the platform for illegal or fraudulent activity
- Attempt to bypass system safeguards
- Reverse engineer or exploit the system
4. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all:
- Product data
- Store data
- Generated content
Commercer acts solely as a processing and execution layer. No data is modified without user-initiated actions.
5. Product Execution & Responsibility
All changes to stores are executed based on user actions. This includes:
- Manual edits
- Bulk operations
- Template applications
- AI-generated transformations
You are responsible for reviewing and approving changes before execution. Commercer provides previews and safeguards but does not guarantee outcomes on external platforms.
6. AI Usage
AI features are optional.
- AI outputs are generated based on provided inputs
- Outputs may require review and validation
- Commercer does not guarantee accuracy, compliance, or performance
AI usage is governed by the AI Credit Policy.
7. Billing & Subscriptions
Subscriptions define:
- Product capacity
- Store connections
- Feature access
AI credits are billed separately and consumed per product transformation. All fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
8. Integrations
Commercer integrates with third-party platforms (e.g. Shopify).
- You authorize access to these platforms
- Commercer is not responsible for third-party outages, API changes, or limitations
9. Availability
Commercer operates on a best-effort basis.
- Bulk operations run as asynchronous jobs
- Execution timing may vary
- Platform performance may depend on external systems
10. Limitation of Liability
Commercer is not liable for:
- Loss of revenue
- Data inconsistencies caused by user actions
- Third-party platform issues
Liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 30 days.
11. Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Violations of these terms
- Abuse of the system
12. Updates
These Terms may be updated. Continued use implies acceptance.
